Who we are

What we collect

Email address. We collect your email before you complete a purchase, so we can send you your order and any transactional messages about it. The free website builder also asks for your email before you download your files. We store it with your consent record, described below, and with a note of which site you downloaded and when. Once our email service is set up, we also use it to email you a copy of your download link, which works for up to 7 days. It goes on our marketing list only if you tick the separate marketing box.

Content you submit. For Revamp Your Current Website, this is the URL you paste in and your short answers about what should change, what should stay exactly as it is and what should get the most attention. For Personalize It, this is the answers you type into our question form, the choices you make on it, and the business plan PDF if you attach one. For the Free Website Builder, this is the design you choose and the text and photos you add. The builder sends each choice and each change to our server as you make it, and our server builds your site from them and stores it at Netlify. Your browser tab keeps a session number that ties you to that stored site, and the builder's web address shows it too. The builder stops opening the site 7 days after it was last built, but the stored copy is not deleted. Before you download the files, the builder asks for your email address.

Payment information. Handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number.

Marketing consent. If you check the separate marketing consent box, we keep a record that you opted in, along with your email. Whenever you give us your email to start an order or to download from the free website builder, we also record the time, your IP address, the details your browser sends about itself, the versions of our Terms and this policy you agreed to, and whether you ticked the marketing box and when. We keep only the latest of these for each email address.

Contact form. When you send us a message through the contact form, we store your name, email address and message, with the time, your IP address, the details your browser sends about itself and the address of the page you sent it from.

How we use it

• To deliver the product you paid for.
• To send you order and account related emails, such as a receipt or a delivery notice. These go out regardless of your marketing consent, because they are about your own order, not marketing.
• To send marketing email, but only if you checked the separate marketing consent box. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• To process your submitted content through Anthropic's API, in order to generate the redesigned copy, personalized copy, or files you asked for.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of outside companies to run our service. We call these subprocessors.

• Stripe processes your payment. We never store your card number.
• Anthropic processes the content you submit to generate your website copy and files: your answers to our questions, the pages and screenshots of the site at the URL you give us, and your business plan if you attach one.
• Netlify hosts this site and stores the records this policy describes and your files, including the sites you build in the free website builder. If you buy hosting, Netlify hosts your site too.
• Google receives the ad measurement data described under Cookies and tracking. The example sites on our Free Website Builder page, some of the sites in our gallery, and the free website builder with its previews load fonts from Google Fonts, so when your browser loads one of them, Google also receives your IP address and the details your browser sends about itself.
• Calendly receives the details you enter when you book a call.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone outside the subprocessors listed above, except if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep order data, including your email and payment record, with no set end date, because nothing deletes it automatically. We keep marketing consent records until you ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe, your record stays, marked as unsubscribed and with marketing turned off.

Sites you build in the free website builder, with the text and photos you add, stay in our storage with no set end date, because nothing deletes them automatically.

Messages you send through the contact form, with the details stored alongside them, also stay in our storage with no set end date, because nothing deletes them automatically.

Some features, such as the contact form, our order forms and the website builder, count the requests that come from each IP address in each hour, to stop abuse. Each count is stored with that IP address and the hour, and nothing deletes those counts.

Your rights

You can ask us, by email to support@socialspirellc.com, to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your personal data, subject to what we're required to keep for tax purposes.

Sites you build in the free website builder, and our hourly request counts, are not stored under a name or email address. To find a site you built, we need its session number, which is part of the builder's web address.

California residents have rights under California privacy law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion of it. Contact us at the email above to make a request.

EU and UK residents have rights under GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and the right to object to certain processing. Contact us at the email above to make a request.

We aim to honor these rights for anyone who asks, regardless of location. We do not claim certification under any specific privacy framework.

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Ads to advertise our services, and the Google tag to measure whether those ads work. When you visit socialspirellc.com, the Google tag may set a cookie in your browser. If you arrived by clicking one of our ads, that cookie lets Google tell us when the visit led to a booked call. Google receives technical details of your visit, such as the page, the time, your browser and your IP address. When you book a call, our page tells Google that a call was booked, along with Calendly's reference code for that booking, so the same booking is never counted twice. We do not send Google your name, your email address or your payment details, and we do not use the tag to build advertising audiences or to show you ads based on your visits. For visitors in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the tag sets no advertising cookies. Google explains how it uses this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can control ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

When you book a call, the booking form is run by Calendly and shown inside our page. The name, email address and answers you enter there go to Calendly, which passes the booking to us. Calendly's privacy policy applies to that form.

Stripe sets its own cookies on the checkout page it hosts, described in Stripe's privacy policy. Calendly sets its own cookies inside the booking form, described in Calendly's privacy policy.

Children

Our products are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date.
