Linear scale: 6 AM to 6 PM is 12 hours, so left = (hour − 6) / 12 × 100%. - Ticks: 6 AM = 0%, 9 AM = 25%, 12 PM = 50%, 3 PM = 75%, 6 PM = 100%. - Bars: Mon–Thu start at 7 AM = 8.333% and end at 6 PM = 100%, so width = 91.667%. Fri ends at 1 PM = 58.333%, so width = 50%. - The gridline background is changed to 12 divisions so the lines fall on whole hours. - The first and last tick labels use translateX(-50%) like the others, so they would overflow the axis edges. I added padding to `.ticks` to keep them inside.
